Gardeners/Groundswork:
Want
to get your hands dirty? Our beautiful garden needs help staying
gorgeous. Maintain the grounds by helping water plants, cutting back shrubs,
weeding, and/or raking leaves. If you enjoy gardening or ground maintenance this just may be the job
for you!
Class Instructor:
Do you have a particular talent or skill you would like to share with others?
We’re always looking for new class and workshop ideas, so bring your ideas to
us! Many of our instructors do receive a minimal fee for their services, call
Molly Kimmel at (206) 297-0875 for more information.
Volunteer Cook:
Do you enjoy
cooking or baking? We are always in need of good cooks to help out in our
kitchen. A volunteer-led team of three cooks lunch each day at the center in
addition to a spaghetti dinner once a month. We also need help preparing baked
goods for special events. Times are flexible.
Group Opportunities:
We do have some opportunities available for groups to serve. Please contact
Aura at (206) 297-0875 for more information.
Trip Coordinator:
Do you like to travel? Are you organized? Join us on monthly trips as the
day-of organizer for a group of seniors.
Bingo/Karaoke Helper: Make popcorn,
serve hotdogs, or help wrap up the evening with cleanup at our monthly
Bingo/Karaoke Nights on the last Friday of the month.
Server at Special Events:
Once a month we have a Spaghetti dinner
fundraiser, where we need servers, cashiers and other helpers.

Computer Lab Helper:
We have a beautiful computer lab, and it is always helpful to have those
experienced in computer work available to help seniors with their computer
problems.
Computer Support: As a small non-profit we rely on volunteers for our technology
support. If you would like to work with a team of technology volunteers to keep
us upgraded and maintained, contact Kevin
Shea by clicking here.
Check out our Volunteer
Bulletin Board at the GSC for more information on current openings.
